Please don’t add brewed espresso to milk before steaming the milk. Make the shot- and work on a 25-second pull, with freshly ground, FINELY ground beans and adequate tamping. Your pull here is something like 11 seconds, which is, sorry, horrible. After you pull your shot, set it aside and steam the milk. TAKE OFF THAT FROTH ASSIST DEVICE on your Krups and steam with the wand alone.
First cappuccino? I hope it got better!
cant have gotten worse. – suggestions for you;
STEP 1: make espresso into the cup you will drink from
STEP 2: Add any flavouring to the espresso
STEP 3: steam the milk (WITHOUT THE ESPRESSO IN IT!!)
STEP 4:Pour milk onto espresso.
Simple.
PS furrycanuck is right – you will get better milk without the froth aider – if you dont know how to steam properly check out dub dub dub coffeegeek “cee oh em”/guides/frothingguide/steamguide
Unfortunately, you can’t remove the Krups froth device and still froth
But I agree with all the other advice.
Maybe I’ll post a video response to this, using the same machine.
This was probably just filmed as an ad for the company at the end – there was more time spent on the display of the ad than was taken to pull the shot.
Shameful.
cg- you can remove the “perfect froth”; I have an old Novo and came off with almost no effort. You’re left with a gaggia-like thin one-hole steam wand that’s slow but can produce excellent microfoam with practice.
I’m glad you put this under the “Entertainment” category.
lol this is total wrong, even i know that you let the espresso in the mug. you steamed the espresso!
u burnt your milk.
thats why it was glugy and slimy.
extract ur coffee into the mug first
turn the steam wand on AFTER its in the milk
hold the jug until it is too hot to hold and then turn it off, or you will burn it like u did.
our slowly into the coffee.
It looks like you have the same machine as me. I pull a great shot about once for every 5 attempts
. As for the steamer, I only get froth and hot milk, not a nice foam.
Hahahaha. I almost fell off my chair seeing this one. Love the way you tip the shot on top of the milk.
very very fast…this is real bad
oh wow.
you’re so weird.
and these people hate you.
because you suck at making cappuccinos.
ps: it’s Brenna.
lol it was made wrong haha
you dont steam the coffee too lmao
only steam the milk
lol
How did you do that? Did you use first price coffee for filter machine?
Much to learn you still have, my young apprentice.
And u drank that
?
Hope you’ll improve your cappuccino,
