how to stop coffee maker from giving off horrible smell through the steam?

Each time you brew a pot of coffee, the smell it gives off is horrible! The very smell comes from the steam. Then make beer, coffee tastes good and the boat is not like the smell. How I can clean a coffee pot to fight his case, that smell?

you have to clean it out buy running a pot of water mixed with white vinegar say 1/2 cup to a 8 cups water.
then follow with running 2 more pots of just water through the machine
where you usually fill the water up prob had brown spots down in there – try to clean that out before flushing with the vinegar & water
clean it out with baking soda then run a few pots of just water to be sure all the baking soda is out
I clean my coffee maker with a solution of vinegar and water. I also use a French press and Kona coffee, which is much more aromatic and flavorful. Vinegar and water will help clean out your coffee maker. Have you checked your filter? It could be the filter that’s causing problems and not necessarily the coffee pot. Just an idea. I’ve never had this problem.

The vinegar and water solution works VERY well to clean out a coffee maker and coffee pot.
Just be aware that running vinegar through a cycle in your coffee machine is going to fill your home/office with the “wonderful smell” of vinegar.
